About Us
CFCHR-is a Health Research oriented non- partisan and non- profit- making foundation. Concerned with issues affecting the development of the child health in Ghana.
Founded in July, 2006, the idea of such an organization was mooted and spearheaded by Nurudeen Mohammed Ibrahim an experienced Research Fellow, American Biographical Institute and International Biographical Centre, United Kingdom, Human Rights activist and consultant, he holds BA Social Science (Economics and Sociology), and certificate in Project Proposal writing. He has rich experience in social work and committed to child health development and to contribute to the empowerment of people and communities. It was affiliates with president Bill Clinton Foundation for Global initiatives and Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Kumasi
Furthermore, It is established to work with other NGOs, Media practitioners, Academicians, Government’s officials, Researchers, and Donor Agencies in promoting health and development.
MISSION
To contribute to the empowerment of people and communities by making available and accessible objective accurate and timely information on health care and health related issues.
To improve the quality of life for poor people in pre-urban and rural communities by addressing public health issues through projects and to contribute to the development policy debate through think tank efforts and dialogue facilitation.
VISION
To serve the research, information and education needs of Ghanaians and international agencies working in health and development.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVE
- To fight against HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis (TB) Malaria and any other related communicable diseases.
- To improve quality health status for poor
- Research, education, Training, care and support of needy children especially malnourished children and mothers
- Developing strategic partnership with other development donor, governments, UN Agencies, Research institutions/centers, Hospitals, NGOs and Foundations
- To promote Human Rights, mother and child rights
- To host Volunteers.
