About Us
The Federation of Youth Clubs (FYC) was formed in June 2002 by about 150 youth groups and organizations within the East Ayawaso constituency specifically Nima, Mamobi, Newtown, Kanda and Ruga communities.
These communities particularly Nima and Mamobi are known to be urban slums with high level of poverty, illiteracy and worse of all lawlessness, insecurity and violence. However, there are many talents and potentials within the youth of the communities that could be harnessed for developmental programming but yet unidentified. It is in this light that the leadership of the various groups decided to come together under one umbrella to discover their potentials for the community development with the motto: “Standing for human dignity and youth progress”
MISSION & VISION
